Concept

The ultimate aim was to develop a fishing sinker system that enables anglers to match their sinkers to suit prevailing conditions without the need to carry a large selection of individual weights.

After extensive consultation it was clear that the challenge was to design a system that:

• is quickly and easily adjustable
• has no need for other tackle breakdown
• has a flat sided angular form
• locks together to ensure that the segments align
• incorporates a grip wire function
