The main component is a central stem onto which is mounted a spring which is housed in the lower cap, this provides the tension that holds the assembly together.

Individual weight segments can be mounted onto the stem and are held in place by simply depressing, rotating then releasing the upper cap.

Weights can be changed in under 10 seconds without the need for any other tackle breakdown as the slots allow the segments to be slipped over the main line.

The base segment can accommodate breakout style grip wires, although the system can be set up without wires if so desired.
